Meet The Team
As an author and speaker, Danny Silk offers life-changing books, conferences, and other resources drawn from decades of experience as a counselor, social worker, advocate, pastor, spouse, parent, grandparent, and leader. Danny’s passion centers around helping people build, strengthen, and heal their vital relationships in life.
Sheri is known for building teams with honor and excellence. Along with her role at Loving on Purpose, Sheri serves as Events Director for Jesus Culture in Sacramento, CA. Prior to this role, she was General Manager of the Redding Civic Auditorium in Redding, CA, the largest event venue north of Sacramento. She also served alongside her husband Danny for over 13 years at Bethel Church and held various roles on the Senior Leadership Team. She and Danny have been married for 30 years, have 3 adult children and 3 grandchildren.

Brittney Serpell is passionate about families, relationships, and leaders being impacted by the power of good communication and relational skills. One of her many talents is bringing the message of Loving Our Kids On Purpose, by her father Danny Silk, to the church and community. She is a master communicator and carries a wealth of knowledge gained from growing up in the Silk household. Brittney is also a certified parent educator through the Love and Logic Institute. She’s married and has three children.
Director, Life Academy
Yaritza (Yari) is a graduate of both World Harvest Bible College in Columbus, Ohio and Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry in Redding, CA. Yari has worked with various ministries over the last 12 years, but none of them has impacted her own life like Loving on Purpose and its message of honor, hope, and love. Now one of Yari’s great passions is to see marriages restored and whole, children empowered to be all that they can be, and people of all walks of life living healthy lives, exuding honor and integrity. Above all else, she is passionate about seeing Jesus lifted high in every area of society.
Leah graduated from Bethel School of Ministry and served on the staff of Bethel Church for five years before moving to Washington, D.C. for three years, where she helped to plant a Bethel-based ministry. After leaving D.C., Leah worked as a computer technician for Apple, Inc. for five years before joining the Loving on Purpose team. Leah loves to bring order and efficiency to systems in order to facilitate productivity. Most importantly, she is passionate about resourcing people with tools to have successful relationships in every capacity of their lives.
